I’m still here

Just a really quick post to let you all know that I’m still alive. I’ve gotten a few emails in the past couple of months from readers concerned that I haven’t posted since March.

First of all, thank you for your concern. Sometimes I forget that this blog is out there for anyone to see. I get wrapped up in my little world and have passing thoughts about how I should be blogging, but something or another comes up and I forget.

Second, I’m sorry that I’ve been MIA. There really isn’t a proper excuse coming up in this post, just that I’ve been having my usual ups and downs, but the downs haven’t been as debilitating in the past few months as they’ve been in the past. Until a couple of weeks ago, that is. Nothing to be worried about, I think, but I’ll have more about that in the next posts.

Thank you to those who wrote to me, and I will get back to you, I promise. I also realized that many of you are finding this blog by searching for information about the AIM program at CAMH. Thus, I will be devoting a few more posts about my experiences there, looking at them from the safety of a year and a half’s worth of distance. I’d also like to write more about mental illness in general, rather than just my experiences.

I hope to be writing much more in the upcoming months, and I hope you will continue to read.

Be back soon….
